How to play
▮ is a wall and △ is a lip. A lip needs speed 2. Curving past the edge drops you. Missing the beat drops you too. A practice wave picks one of eight augments. Passing a cell throws spray, and straight, curve, cut, lip, finish, and fall each have their own sound.
Detailed rules
- 1.Today's water comes from the Korea Standard Time date. The same day is the same water.
- 2.The stroke is straight, left, right, or cut. The safe cell is not written on the buttons.
- 3.Straight adds 1 speed. A curve spends 1 and changes lane. A cut sets speed to 0.
- 4.A wall, a lip without speed 2, or a curve off the edge drops you.
- 5.Missing the beat drops you too. Inputs are not sent to a server.
Origin & history
Line Surf is a daily ride where one stroke is the track. Straight adds speed, a curve spends it, and a cut empties it. There is no freehand drawing.
FAQ
Why can't I draw the line?
The stroke is four buttons. Speed comes from the curve and the cut, not from the shape of a drawing.
Does straight always win?
No. A wall means you have to curve, and a curve spends the speed a lip asks for.
