How to play
Stand on the earlier plate first. Move to the live plate when the ghost, ten seconds behind, is on the earlier one. Standing still still spends a second.
Detailed rules
- 1.Today's plates come from the Korea Standard Time date. The same day is the same floor.
- 2.The ghost is the cell from ten seconds ago. Before that record exists, it waits on the start.
- 3.A move is one cell and one second. Doing nothing still adds a second.
- 4.The floor opens when both plates are occupied in the same second. It cannot open before ten seconds.
- 5.A step into a blocked cell spends no second. At 45 seconds the run closes.
- 6.Positions are not sent to a server.
Origin & history
Ten-Second Cursor is a daily timing puzzle: your cell now and your cell from ten seconds ago press the plates together. The ghost is your own record, and it is not sent to a server.
FAQ
Who is the ghost?
It is you, ten seconds ago. It is not another player.
Does standing still stop the clock?
No. The cell you stand on is recorded every second, and the ghost reaches it ten seconds later.
