How to play
Each number counts mines in the 8 adjacent cells. Clear every safe cell to win; long-press or right-click to flag.
Separate certainty from probability
Read overlapping number regions together instead of treating one clue in isolation. Subtract confirmed flags to find cells that must be safe or must contain mines.
The daily board is verified solvable by logic. Before calling a position fifty-fifty, scan the full frontier for another number that adds a missing constraint.

Minesweeper traces back to 1960s mainframe games and became a worldwide office staple when it shipped with Windows 3.1 in 1992.

Can the first click hit a mine?
No — mines are placed after your first click so it is always safe, per standard Minesweeper convention.
What's the difference between Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert?
The board size and mine density differ. Beginner is 10×10 with 10 mines, Intermediate is 16×16 with 40 (the same size as the Daily Challenge), and Expert is 30×16 with 99 — much larger and denser. The Daily Challenge gives everyone the same Intermediate-sized board and tracks a streak.
