Rhythm Tap — Free 4-Lane Rhythm Game

Rhythm Tap
Tap the lane as notes hit the line
Score: 0
Best: 0
🎵

Tap a lane the moment its note reaches the hit line (desktop: D, F, J, K). Miss 5 times and it's over.

How to play

Notes fall down four lanes. Tap the lane (or press D, F, J, K on desktop) the instant its note reaches the hit line — good timing scores Perfect or Good and builds your combo. Missing a note breaks the combo, and five misses end the game. The pace speeds up as your score climbs.

Origin & history

Rhythm Tap distills the rhythm-game lineage of Guitar Hero, DDR and osu! into a simple 4-lane falling-note format you play in the browser.

FAQ

Is it a rhythm game without sound?

Yes. It uses the visual timing of falling notes and the hit line rather than audio, so you can play comfortably even muted — on the bus, in a library, anywhere.

Any tips for a higher score?

Longer combos boost the points per note, so avoiding misses matters most. Read notes early and keep a finger (or hand) ready over each lane to stay accurate through the fast sections.
