How to play

▢ is step, ▼ is brace, ◆ is look. When the line swaps two verbs, each leaves the button it had in the previous room. When time runs out, the room closes.

Detailed rules

  1. 1.Today's patches come from the Korea Standard Time date. The same day is the same patches.
  2. 2.The first room matches the words on the buttons. After that, one line swaps two verbs.
  3. 3.The words on the buttons do not change. Pressing the seat the needed verb had last room is the old control.
  4. 4.The old control loses the room. So does letting the time run out.
  5. 5.Inputs are not sent to a server.

Origin & history

Patch Dungeon is a daily puzzle where one verb changes each room. Only one line updates. The words on the buttons stay as they were, so the old control loses the room.

Why don't the button words change?

The words are the first room's controls. The change lives only in the one line.

Does the line tell me the button?

It only names which verbs swapped. It does not name the button.
