Memory Card Matching Game
Choose difficulty
How to play
Flip two cards at a time to find matching pairs. Clear all pairs in the fewest tries.
Remember pairs as relationships
Instead of memorizing cards independently, encode the two locations of a matching image as one relationship. Briefly recall whether the latest card has a known partner before turning another.
A failed attempt still adds information. Periodically rehearse known positions instead of continuously opening new cards to reduce working-memory load.
Origin & history
The memory card game (Concentration) is a classic matching game testing recall, widely used in early education.
