Manipulate the 4 illustrated panels in the 2x2 grid to weave a continuous scene: 1) Click the [🔍+ Zoom In / 🔍- Zoom Out] button on any panel to change its camera magnification. 2) Click one panel and then another to swap their positions in the grid. 3) When a panel displays the '✨ Stencil Ready' badge (Stone Arch, Brass Telescope, Sundial Ring), click it and then click its target background frame to composite the cutout layer on top!

Origin & history

Gorogoa Frame Weaver is an original OIYO 2x2 multi-frame visual puzzle inspired by Jason Roberts' BAFTA-winning hand-illustrated masterpiece Gorogoa (2017). Zoom inside individual comic panels to uncover hidden details, rearrange the 4 frames spatially to connect broken bridges and staircases, and detach foreground stencil cutouts to composite them onto other scenes.

FAQ

When does Stencil Layer Stacking trigger instead of a normal slot swap?

First, zoom in (🔍+) on the stencil panel—the Stone Arch in Ch.1, the Brass Telescope in Ch.2, or the Sundial Ring in Ch.3. Once zoomed in, a '✨ Stencil Ready' banner appears. Clicking that panel and then clicking its matching background panel (Fountain, Starfield, or Golden Bell) composites the cutout frame directly over the scene!

What does the '💡 Hint Step' button do if I get stuck?

Clicking '💡 Hint Step' reveals the chapter's solution guide AND automatically executes the next uncompleted logical step for you—whether that's zooming the right panel, stacking the stencil, or aligning the frames!
