Border Inspector Desk — Document Verification & Discrepancy Simulator
🛂 Border Inspector Desk
Cross-check two fields across Passport, Entry Permit, and Rulebook to spot discrepancies before stamping
How to play
1) Examine the traveler's Passport and Entry Permit against the Ministry Rulebook. 2) To verify a suspicion, click any two related fields (e.g., '📅 Booth Date' + 'Passport Expires On', 'Passport No.' + 'Permit Passport No.', or 'Issuing City' + 'Valid Issuing Cities'). 3) If a discrepancy is confirmed, stamping '⛔ STAMP [DENIED]' awards +15₵ bonus pay on top of your +20₵ base salary! 4) If all fields are valid, click '✅ STAMP [APPROVED]'.
Origin & history
Border Inspector Desk is an original OIYO document-verification thriller inspired by Lucas Pope's acclaimed Papers, Please. Cross-reference each traveler's Passport, Entry Permit, Ministry Rulebook, and the booth date (1982-11-23) using the two-field Discrepancy Inspector to catch expired dates, fake issuing cities, mismatched IDs, and forged seals before stamping APPROVED or DENIED.
FAQ
Can I stamp DENIED immediately without linking the discrepancy first?
Yes! Denying an invalid applicant directly is still counted as a correct judgment (+20₵ base pay, no Citation). However, linking the two conflicting fields first to trigger '🚨 Discrepancy Confirmed!' grants an extra +15₵ bonus (total +35₵).
How many Ministry Citations can I receive before losing?
Your first Citation is a formal warning with no fine, the 2nd and 3rd Citations deduct 10₵ each, and accumulating 4 Citations results in immediate dismissal.
